Basil – Mascarpone – Cream on Balsamic – Strawberries

The perfect basil – mascarpone – cream on balsamic – strawberries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Mascarpone
  • 2 tablespoon Whipped cream
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 5 Basil leaves
  • 2 Tablespoon (level) Powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Honey liquid
  • 100 g Fresh strawberries
  • Fresh basil

  2. Mix the mascarpone with the cream and lemon juice until smooth. Wash the basil, shake dry and cut into small pieces. Puree 2 tablespoons of mascarpone mixture with powdered sugar and basil. Gradually stir in the rest of the mascarpone mixture. Refrigerate.
  3. Bring the balsamic vinegar with honey to the boil while stirring. Reduce syrupy over a low flame. Let cool down. Wash and clean the strawberries and cut into fine slices.
  4. Arrange the strawberries on a dessert plate. Drizzle with the balsamic vinegar. Pour the basil cream into a piping bag and spray into the center of the strawberries. Garnish with fresh basil.
