Ingredients
- Fresh puff pastry
- 1 Egg yolk
for the filling
- 1 cup Cream
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- Strawberries
- Icing sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into pieces of equal size.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In order to be able to remove the lid later, cut a rectangle into the dough sheets with a knife, leaving a 1cm edge.
- Pierce the edges several times with a fork and brush with the egg yolk.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the dough sheets for 8 minutes and let them cool down.
- Beat the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff.
- Wash the strawberries and cut them in half.
- Remove the lid from the puff pastry, brush the pieces with cream and top with strawberries.
- Put the lid back on and dust with powdered sugar.
