Ingredients

  • 60 g Coffee ground very finely
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 4 espresso cup Water
  • 1 tsp Rose water

Instructions

  • Real Turkish coffee is prepared in a copper kettle. Since it is unlikely to be available, we will content ourselves with a saucepan. First we mix the coffee powder with the sugar. Then we pour 1/3 of the water and let everything boil.
  • Now we add the second third of water and let it boil again, then the last third and another boil follows. The coffee is filled with the resulting foam in small mocha cups and refined with a few drops of rose water.
  • Serve piping hot. If rose water is not available, please rinse the coffee with a splash of cold water to allow the coffee grounds to settle.
