Dubbe Cake

- 1,5 kg Potatoes
- 3 Onions
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 3 Eggs
- 1 Splash Tabasco
- Salt pepper
- 200 g Slices of bacon
- Peel and grate the potatoes. Let stand for a few minutes. Finely grate the onions and garlic.
- Squeeze the potatoes and let the potato water rest for a few minutes until the potato starch has settled. Drain the liquid and add the starch back to the potatoes.
- Mix the grated potatoes, onions, garlic, eggs and the spices.
- Brush a baking dish with oil and line it with slices of bacon. Pour in the potato mixture and drizzle a little oil over it. Place in the preheated oven (200 degrees) and bake for about 1.5 hours.
