Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 liter of milk
- 300 g sugar
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 1 vanilla pod(s)
- n. B. honey (1 tsp to 1 tbsp)
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Milk jam
Bring the milk to a boil with the sugar and vanilla pod. Add the baking soda, continue simmering, and stir frequently to prevent a skin from forming. The milk should thicken enough to coat the wooden spoon and leave a visible mark on the spoon when you run your finger through it. Add the honey and wait until it dissolves. Continue stirring and let cool. Pour into jam jars, seal tightly, and store in a cool, dark place. Keeps for up to 3 months.
