Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 jar morello cherries
- 1 pack of cake glaze, red
- 250 g quark
- 2 cups sour cream
- 5 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 2 cups of cream
- e.g. chocolate shavings (dark) or possibly egg liqueur as required
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
delicious dessert with quark, cream and cherries
Drain the morello cherries, reserving the juice. Bring the morello cherries’ juice to a boil with the cake glaze according to the package instructions, then add the morello cherries and fold in. Transfer to a shallow dish and let cool. Mix the quark with the sour cream and vanilla sugar. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in. Spread this mixture over the cooled cherries and sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings (or add eggnog if desired).
