Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 bread dumplings
- 1 zucchini
- 150 g sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 200 ml condensed milk or cream
- n. B. bacon cubes
- 100 g cheese, e.g. Brie or Gouda
- salt and pepper

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
perfect for using up leftovers
Cut the cooked bread dumplings into 1 cm thick slices. Thinly slice the zucchini and layer them alternately in a baking dish. Whisk the sour cream with the eggs and condensed milk and season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the dumplings and zucchini. Sprinkle with bacon cubes and cheese, if desired. Bake the casserole at 180°C (convection oven) for 30 minutes.
