Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 2 kg potatoes
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • Salt
  • possibly white bread

Instructions

Boil 1/2 kg of potatoes, peel and finely grate the remaining 1 1/2 kg of raw potatoes, and squeeze the excess water with a kitchen towel. Place them in a bowl, season with salt, and blanch with boiling milk. Then add the peeled, cooked potatoes and mix everything together. Form dumplings and boil in salted water for about 15 minutes. If desired, place toasted white bread cubes in the center.
