Apple – elderberry – plum – jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 g apples, peeled and cored
  • 600 g juice (elderberry juice)
  • 700 g plums, pitted
  • 1,000 g gelling sugar, 2 : 1
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Halve and stone the plums. Peel, quarter, and core the apples, then cut them into slices. Combine the apples, plums, and elderberry juice (I made the juice a few days earlier in a steam juicer). Add the gelling sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil for 4 minutes, then add the rum and pour into the prepared twist-off jars. I got 10.5 jars of 230 ml each.
