Easter Braid with Raisins

Ingredients
 

  • 500 gr Flour
  • 100 gr Sugar
  • 250 ml. Milk
  • 50 gr Raisins
  • 20 gr Yeast fresh
  • 1 Teaspoon. Salt
  • 1 st Egg
  • 75 gr Butter

Instructions
 

  • Put the flour in a bowl, add the warm milk to a mixing beaker, stir in the yeast, add the egg and whisk. Pour the liquid into the flour, add softened butter and salt and knead everything. Knead in the raisins, let rise for 2 hours.
  • Then knead again and weave a braid from 4 strands. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with egg. Let rise again for 30 minutes, bake at 200 degrees for 45 minutes.
