Easy beetroot salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 beetroots, cooked
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, white
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Slice the beets into half slices or sticks. Marinate with vinegar, oil, and a little sugar. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan. (Be careful, or they’ll hop all over the kitchen.) Mix into the beets: finito. Lightly toasted, the sesame seeds impart a wonderful nutty flavor and take away some of the earthiness of the beets. Of course, everyone uses the right amount of vinegar and oil.
