The backcross of grapefruit and grapefruit is called a pomelo. To eat these, you must first cut and peel the fruit properly. The firm flesh of the pomelo is reminiscent of an orange and is also somewhat similar in taste.

  3. Cut the white skin at the base of the stem slightly with a knife.
  4. Now peel the pomelo like an orange. Remove the peel with your fingers. Also, remove the thick, white skin that surrounds the flesh.
