Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 12 wafer rolls with dark and light chocolate
  • 12 biscuits or cookies, flat, round or star-shaped
  • 12 almonds, whole kernels
  • e.g. lemon juice
  • e.g. powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Mix powdered sugar with a little lemon juice to make a glaze. Use the glaze to stick the chocolate wafer rolls, chocolate-side down, onto the cookies. Dip one side of the almond into the sugar mixture and place it on top of the chocolate roll. It looks lovely when a little powdered sugar glaze runs down the roll. A very nice decoration for a Christmas coffee table.
