Egg-free apple pie with cinnamon

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g spelt flour
  • 100 g spelt flakes or oat flakes
  • 4 tbsp apple juice
  • 70 ml oil
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g chopped walnuts or sunflower seeds
  • 50 g raisins, as desired
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 apples
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Combine the flour with the baking powder, then stir in the apple flakes, apple juice, oil, baking powder, and spices. Pour the dough into a greased, shallow dish. Quarter the apples and then cut them into flat pieces. Place them on the dough and brush with lemon juice. Sprinkle with nuts, seeds, and raisins. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 to 200 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes.
