Egg fricassee

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 eggs
  • 3 onions
  • 60 g butter
  • 50 g flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 500 ml broth
  • 250 g ham, cooked
  • 1 can/n mushrooms, whole (230g)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tbsp curry

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Boil the eggs for 10 minutes, then rinse and peel. Peel and dice the onions. Sauté in hot fat until translucent. Sprinkle with flour. Stir in the milk and broth, stirring constantly, and cook for 8 minutes. Heat the diced ham and drained mushrooms in the sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and curry powder. Heat the halved eggs in the sauce. Serve with rice, boiled potatoes, or mashed potatoes.
