- ½ onion(s), cut into half rings
- 3 slice(s) ham, cut into strips
- 1 small tomato(s), diced
- 1 slice(s) bread(s), diced
- 1 tbsp cream
- salt and pepper
- Herbs to taste
- 1 slice(s) cheese
- oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Heat oil in a pan, add the onions, and fry. Then reduce the heat, add the ham, and sauté. Add the diced tomatoes, then the bread cubes, spreading everything evenly in the pan. Whisk the egg with salt and cream and pour into the pan. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper and freshly chopped herbs (if using). Pierce the mixture in several places so the liquid reaches the bottom. Tear the cheese into pieces and scatter it on top. Cover the pan and wait until the egg has set and the cheese has melted.
