Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil, or frying fat
  • 500 g Hackepeter, or minced meat, mixed
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp marjoram
  • 750 ml meat broth
  • 800 g pasta (egg)
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • Salt

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and dice the onion and add it to the minced meat. Season the minced meat lightly with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the minced meat until crumbly. Add the tomato paste and toast slightly. Season with salt, pepper, and marjoram and pour in the broth. Cook the pork chops over low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain in a colander. Divide among deep plates and serve with the pork chops.
