easy and fast
First, thinly slice the onion and fry it in a pan heated with vegetable cream until golden brown. In the meantime, toast the bread until dark and spread butter on the slices. I use sea salt butter; I like it best. In a second pan, add more vegetable cream and sear the two slices of salami. Place the salami on the buttered slices of toast, slice the tomatoes, and then place them on top of the salami. Sprinkle with the melted cheese and bake briefly in the oven with fan-assisted heating until the cheese is slightly melted. In the meantime, crack the eggs into fried eggs in the still-hot pan. Place the cooked eggs on the slices of toast and top with the toasted onion rings. Garnish with basil leaves, salt, and pepper. Note: This recipe is suitable as a hearty breakfast, quick lunch, or dinner.
