Party toast with minced meat and mozzarella

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 7 tomatoes
  • 3 spring onions
  • 1 processed cheese corner with herbs
  • 6 slice(s) toast bread (sandwich toast)
  • 200g mozzarella
  • 400 g minced meat
  • Tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Dice the mozzarella and the tomatoes. Cut the spring onions into thin rings. Fry the ground beef until crumbly, then add the spring onions and fry briefly. Add the cream cheese and let it melt. Finally, add the diced tomatoes to the meat mixture in the pot, but do not let it boil (otherwise it will become too mushy). Season with salt, pepper, and paprika and let it cool slightly. Toast the bread on low heat, then spread with tomato paste and place on a baking sheet. Spread the meat mixture over the slices of bread. Finally, sprinkle the diced mozzarella over the bread and bake the slices in the oven at 175°C for 10-15 minutes. The baking time may vary depending on the oven. It’s delicious for children and adults alike, it’s quick and easy, and it doesn’t cost much.
