A quick fix when unexpected visitors arrive

Preheat the oven to 175°C. Place the slices of toast on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a water glass to cut circles out of the slices of toast (reserve these for another purpose). Drop an egg into each of the holes, taking care not to break the yolk. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Place in the oven and bake until the egg is set. Then top each egg with a slice of sausage, add vegetables such as pepper strips or cucumber slices, and place a slice of cheese on top. Bake the toast until the cheese has melted. Serve with garlic sauce or ketchup and pickles. A mixed salad would also go well with the sandwich.
