Eggnog – Bundt cake with apples

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 large apples
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 250 g butter or margarine, soft
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 m.-sized eggs
  • 150 ml egg liqueur
  • 425 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • Fat for the mold
  • Breadcrumbs for the form

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel, quarter, core, and finely chop the apples, and drizzle with lemon juice. Beat the fat, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt until creamy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Pour in the liqueur while stirring. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in. Pat the apple pieces dry and fold in. Spread the batter into a greased, breadcrumb-coated Bundt pan (approx. 2 l capacity). Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 150°C for approx. 1 hour. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan. Then turn the cake out and let cool completely again. Finally, dust with powdered sugar.
