Eggnog cake with chocolate sprinkles

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 m.-sized eggs
  • 180 g sugar
  • 250 ml egg liqueur
  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 100 g chocolate sprinkles
  • Butter, for the mold
  • Breadcrumbs, for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whisk together the eggs, sugar, and softened butter. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in. Fold in the eggnog and chocolate sprinkles and mix well. Don’t overmix, as otherwise the chocolate sprinkles will break up and ruin the batter’s beautiful color. Grease the pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour in the batter and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for approximately 60-75 minutes, depending on the pan. Loaf pans require a longer baking time. Tip: The cake tastes best with chocolate icing.
