Eggnog chocolate muffins

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 125 g butter or margarine
  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 125 ml eggnog
  • 1 tbsp chocolate shavings
  • 75 g dark chocolate coating
  • 25 g white chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Beat the eggs, sugar, and margarine until fluffy. Carefully fold in the flour and baking powder. Then stir in the egg liqueur and chocolate shavings. Line a muffin tin with baking cups and fill them two-thirds full with the batter. Bake at 200°C (400°F) or 180°C (350°F) (convection oven) for about 15-20 minutes. Melt the chocolate coating separately. Cover the muffins with a dark coating, let it dry slightly, and decorate with white chocolate coating.
