a highlight for every Halloween party and also low in fat

Mix the sour cream, milk, sugar, and egg with the orange flavoring and cinnamon. Stir in the finely grated pumpkin. Combine the flour, nuts, and baking powder and stir into the wet ingredients. This should form a relatively runny batter. Heat and oil a waffle iron. Bake waffles from the batter. Scooping the batter is especially effective! Serve the waffles on plates. Paint pumpkin faces on the waffles with the chocolate sauce. The waffles are wonderfully soft and taste best warm. The batter can also be cooked in a pan as pancakes if you don’t have a waffle iron!
