Elderberry and plum jam with walnuts and port wine

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter juice (elderberry juice)
  • 1 kg plum(s), pitted
  • 200 g walnuts, chopped
  • 1 kg gelling sugar, 2 Plus 1
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 10 cl port wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Combine the elderberry juice with the plums, walnuts, vanilla sugar, and gelling sugar and boil for 4 minutes. Then add the port wine and boil for another 1/2 minute. Immediately pour into twist-off jars and turn upside down for 5 minutes. I got 13 230 ml jars.
