Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 750 g elderberries
- 250 g plum(s), pitted
- 500 g sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 45 minutes
Chop the plums into small pieces. Mix the elderberries with the plums and sprinkle with sugar. Let it steep overnight. Then, in a saucepan, simmer the fruit mixture over medium heat for about 25 minutes, stirring frequently, until it thickens to jam. Pour into jars while still piping hot and seal immediately.
