Emily's tortellini in herb cheese sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g tortellini with ricotta filling (refrigerated section)
  • salt water
  • 200 g processed cheese with herbs
  • 200 ml cream
  • 100 g cheese (old Gouda), grated
  • ½ bunch basil
  • ½ bunch chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the tortellini in salted water according to the package instructions. Finely chop the chives and basil. Bring the cream and cream cheese to a boil in a saucepan, stirring constantly. Add the chives and bring back to a boil. Add the Gouda cheese and mix well. Stir in the basil and pour the cheese sauce over the tortellini.
