Epic Hot Chocolate

The perfect epic hot chocolate recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 liter Milk
  • 100 g Dark chocolate couverture
  • 2 tbsp Strength
  • 4 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa
  • 3 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp Ovaltine
  • 1 pinch Sea-Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  1. Chop the couverture and mix with the starch, Ovaltine, cocoa, powdered sugar, cinnamon and salt.
  1. Heat milk – do not boil! Add four tablespoons of the mixture and stir with the whisk until the hot chocolate is slightly thick.
  1. If you like, you can add a shot of rum or amaretto or just enjoy it =)
  1. The mixture can be stored in a jar and is enough for the entire run-up to Christmas!
