Eva's Chicken Curry

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 chicken breasts, without skin
  • 3 large onions (vegetable onions)
  • 200 ml beer
  • 5 tbsp stock (chicken stock)
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Curry dish with onion and yogurt

Cut the chicken into strips or cubes, season with salt and pepper. Cut the onion into strips (thicker if you like). First, fry the chicken. Then add the onion and let it become translucent, not brown. Pour in a little beer and add the curry. Add the beer gradually, allowing it to evaporate and form a sauce. Add the garlic. Add the stock and yogurt. Let everything simmer until a creamy sauce forms. Taste the beer and curry and adjust the portion accordingly. This recipe is particularly good with Greek yogurt. Rice is recommended as a side dish.
