Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g pork, diced
- 1 tbsp lard
- 3 stalk(s) celery, cut into rings
- 2 small apples, diced
- 1 onion(s), diced
- 1 clove(s) garlic, crushed
- 3 slice(s) pineapple, diced, with juice, from the can
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 2 tbsp mango chutney
- 1 cup crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 banana(s), sliced
- 2 kiwi(s), sliced
- ½ cup sour cherries, compote
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Roast the pork in the lard until golden brown. Add the celery, apples, onion, and garlic for 5 minutes, then cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add a little broth, if desired. Add the pineapple, pineapple juice, curry, and mango chutney and simmer for about 40 minutes. Then stir in the crème fraîche. Heat the banana, kiwis, a few pineapple pieces, and cherries in butter and pour over the goulash. This goulash is also delicious with lamb or turkey.
