Exquisa – Eggs with bacon and ham

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g cream cheese, fat content to taste
  • 100 g whipped cream
  • Bacon or smoked belly
  • Ham (back ham)
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped, dried
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Preheat oven to high. Heat a large pan with butter/oil over medium heat. Roughly chop the bacon/ham and add it to the pan to brown. Meanwhile, beat the eggs, cream cheese, cream, pepper, a little salt, and parsley with a mixer until light and fluffy. Be careful not to beat the butter out of the cream. Pour the egg mixture over the now golden-fried bacon and reduce the heat. When it starts to set, transfer it to the oven to bake briefly. Top heat is sufficient for now. Once it has risen and taken on some color, it is ready to serve.
