Face Masks For Men: Goodbye Pimples And Blackheads

Remove blackheads, minimize wrinkles, and prevent irritation: there are enough reasons why face masks for men are true care boosters. Here you can find out everything about the application and its benefits.

Face masks – for men, a story full of misunderstandings

Hand on heart, when you think of face masks, what image comes to mind? Let’s guess: a woman wrapped in a bathrobe with a towel wrapped into a turban on her head, natural yoghurt on her face and slices of cucumber on her eyes. The notorious cucumber mask is certainly considered to be the mother of all face masks and that is why it has burned itself into popular consciousness. However, she is far from the only one. There are now suitable face masks for a wide variety of applications. For a long time dismissed as purely a woman’s thing, more and more men are now swearing by facial beauty treatments. It is not surprising that the male face is used no less in everyday life than that of women.

Skin irritation can occur, especially after shaving. If the face is not cleaned sufficiently after shaving, dirt and bacteria can penetrate the skin, for example through dirty razor blades. The result: pimples. They also come out of the pores when the blade is dull. Then the hair is literally ripped out of the skin and the face changes in no time into that of a pubescent teenager. But peeling for men can also be a promising antidote to optical phenomena that occur in the course of aging and transform your skin into a real fountain of youth.

Face masks for men: what skin type are you?

The pustule cake

If your face looks like it did when you were young, there are only two tips to prevent pimples: Do not leave the apartment until the red pus pimples are gone. Disadvantage: sooner or later the inflammation will come back.

Tip number two and much more effective: You apply a peel-off mask to remove pimples and blackheads. As with all face masks, first, remove dirt and sweat from your face with lukewarm water or a mild cleansing gel before applying. Then you can start: After the exposure time of about 15 to 20 minutes, you can simply remove the mask. If you only want to get rid of a few blackheads, you can alternatively use so-called clear-up strips. As with the peel-off mask, the impurities simply stick to the film.

The desert fox

Is your skin as dry as the Sahara? In addition, does it react sensitively to care products and simply needs time to regenerate? Then you should reach for the cream mask. It lays like a protective wall on the exhausted skin and helps it to store moisture and thus protect it from dryness. The face cream for men is very easy to use: apply, wait 15 to 20 minutes, and done! And wash up? You don’t have to because the face cream is almost completely absorbed by the skin.

The Oil Sheik

All that glitters is not gold: this also applies to the skin. If it is oily, this could be a sign that your sebaceous glands are producing too many fatty substances. In addition to the shiny appearance, cornification and impurities are also unsightly side effects. What helps against oily skin are sheet masks that regulate sebum production with special care substances and also clean clogged pores and reduce blackheads. The advantage of sheet masks: no cream, no mess. Men with two left hands will be happy.

Lord of the Rings

Time leaves its mark on every face. This is noticeable, among other things, in the form of dark circles under the eyes. The remedy here is the German’s favorite plant – the potato. Simply place two thin slices of it on the under-eye circles and leave it on for 15 minutes. You won’t believe your eyes how quickly the swelling will go down and the rings will get lighter. If you want to fight wrinkles, you can also make the face mask yourself. All you need is a tablespoon of almond oil and half a tablespoon of honey. Mix both together, apply to tired men’s skin and wash off with lukewarm water after 20 minutes. After just a few days, the rejuvenation cure is visible.
