Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 1 tbsp wheat flour
  • 1 dl milk or water
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Alpine meal

Melt butter in a pan. Stir in flour and toast until lightly browned. Then carefully add milk/water, stirring constantly in a figure-eight pattern. Stir and simmer until the squash “dances to the cellar,” meaning until it reaches a creamy consistency and the butter reappears on the sides of the pan. Add a pinch of salt if desired. For a change, try a “Beeri-Squash”: simply stir in blueberries and a little sugar.
