popular dessert from Brittany

First, wash the prunes, drain them thoroughly, and soak them in rum. Then, combine the finely sifted flour and the eggs. Heat the milk, sugar, and butter while stirring constantly. Let the mixture cool slightly, then blend it well with the egg-flour mixture. During this process, add the vanilla sugar for a more refined flavor. Grease an ovenproof dish with butter, pour in the batter, scatter the prunes on top, and bake in a preheated oven at medium heat (between 175 and 200°C) for about 60 minutes. This dessert, which you can use raisins for instead of prunes, is a particularly popular dessert in Brittany. I’ve eaten it myself. Delicious, delicious, delicious!
