Fast Sauerkraut Pot

The perfect fast sauerkraut pot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 160 g Potatoes
  • Salt
  • 0,5 Fresh onion
  • 50 g Chicken – Kassler
  • Fat for frying
  • 1 disc Pineapple canned
  • 130 g Sauerkraut drained
  • 300 Milliliters Vegetable broth
  • Chives fresh
  • Parsley crispy fresh
  • Chilli flakes
  1. Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. Pouring off.
  2. Peel the onion and chop it roughly. Cut the Kassler into cubes. Steam the onion in hot fat until translucent. Add the Kassler, sauté briefly.
  3. Cut the pineapple into pieces. Add the sauerkraut and pineapple to the pot. Top up with vegetable stock. Bring to the boil briefly and simmer on a low flame for five minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the potato pieces.
  4. Divide the soup between two deep plates. Sprinkle something green on top for the eye. Grind the chilli flakes over the top.
