Fastest nut cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 eggs
  • 500 g sugar
  • 500 g hazelnuts, ground
  • Fat for the mold
  • possibly powdered sugar for dusting
  • possibly cake icing
  • possibly cream (cake cream) for filling

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy (at least 10 minutes). Fold in the nuts. Grease a springform pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180–200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 1.5 hours (test with a skewer). You may want to cover the cake slightly to prevent it from overcooking. Let it cool in the pan. Decorate with powdered sugar or icing, if desired. The cake can also be cut in half and filled with cake cream.
