Fennel Wrapped in Bacon

The perfect fennel wrapped in bacon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Pc. Big fennel
  • 1 pack Fried bacon
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Seasoned Salt
  1. Wash the fennel bulbs and cut lengthways into pieces. Bring plenty of salted water to the boil and cook the fennel in it for about 15 minutes. Pour into a sieve and allow to drain.
  2. Season the fennel pieces with herb salt, wrap with bacon and pinch with a wooden skewer. Fry the wrapped pieces of fennel in oil until crispy. Serve hot.
  3. Tip 3: Fry with onions and cherry tomatoes.
