Fennel Wrapped in Bacon
The perfect fennel wrapped in bacon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Pc. Big fennel
- 1 pack Fried bacon
- 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt
- Seasoned Salt
- Wash the fennel bulbs and cut lengthways into pieces. Bring plenty of salted water to the boil and cook the fennel in it for about 15 minutes. Pour into a sieve and allow to drain.
- Season the fennel pieces with herb salt, wrap with bacon and pinch with a wooden skewer. Fry the wrapped pieces of fennel in oil until crispy. Serve hot.
- Tip 3: Fry with onions and cherry tomatoes.
