Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 3 eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 50 g flour
- 40 g cornstarch
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 jar cherry(s) (sour cherries)
- 2 cups of cream
- 1 pack of confectionery (Ferrero Kisses)
- 1 pack of cake glaze
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Whisk 3 egg yolks, 75g sugar, and vanilla sugar until frothy. Combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and cocoa powder and fold into the egg yolk mixture. Whisk 3 egg whites and 25g sugar until stiff peaks form and fold in. Pour batter into a springform pan and bake at 180°C for approximately 15-20 minutes. Top with sour cherries and frost with a cake glaze. Whip 2 cups of cream until stiff peaks form. Crush Ferrero Rocher chocolates and fold in. Spread over the cherry base and decorate with Ferrero Rocher chocolates.
