Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 red bell peppers
  • e.g. chili, chopped
  • 125 ml white wine
  • 125 ml cream
  • 1 onion(s)
  • n. E. rosemary, thyme, oregano
  • olive oil
  • possibly flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

excellent with fish, meat and pasta

Finely dice the bell peppers. Finely chop the onion and sauté in a little olive oil. Pour in 2/3 of the wine and cream, add the chili and herbs, and simmer for about 25 minutes. Then, using a hand blender, blend everything thoroughly (it’s okay if there are still a few small pieces of bell pepper in there). Add the remaining wine and cream and simmer for another 10 minutes. Thin with a little cream, if desired, or thicken with a little flour… everyone likes a different sauce consistency.
