Fiery potato skewers from the grill

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g potatoes (small new potatoes)
  • 2 red chili peppers (alternatively chili flakes)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Boil the potatoes in their skins for 8-10 minutes until almost tender. In the meantime, deseed the chilies. Finely dice the garlic and chilies. Alternatively, you can also use dried chilies. Add the garlic, chilies, salt, and pepper to the olive oil and toss the hot potatoes in it. Once cooled, thread the potatoes onto skewers and grill for a few minutes on each side on the hot grill. The skewers can be prepared a few hours before grilling. The potatoes are a great side dish to grilled meat and vegetables and are particularly delicious with herb or wild garlic curd.
