Fig and strawberry punch

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g strawberries, fresh
  • 4 figs, fresh
  • 200 ml liqueur (strawberry liqueur)
  • 1 liter red wine, sweet
  • 350 ml sparkling wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Wash and sort the strawberries, removing the stems. Cut the berries into small pieces. Wash the figs thoroughly and also chop them finely. Place the fruit in a punch bowl, pour over the liqueur, and refrigerate. Let it steep for at least an hour. Before serving, top up with wine and sparkling wine and add ice cubes, if desired. If you like, you can also add a sprig of mint to the punch.
