Filled Pinwheels Made from Puff Pastry
The perfect filled pinwheels made from puff pastry recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Pc. Puff pastry slices
- 6 tsp Plum jam
- Or solid jam
- Powdered sugar
- 1 Pc. Egg yolk
- Take the puff pastry out of the freezer and let it thaw.
- Now cut into 6 squares and place a teaspoon full of plum jam or jam in the middle of each. Cut from the tips up to approx. 1 cm in front of the filling.
- Now place the first corner over the infill, then the 3rd, then the 2nd and then the 4th – see photos –
- Break up the egg yolks and brush the puff pastry pinwheels with them. Place in the oven preheated to 200 ° C for approx. 12-15 minutes, dust with icing sugar while it is still hot and serve.
