Fillet steak in aluminum foil

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 thick fillet steaks (200 g each), well-hung
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • 2 tbsp mixed herbs, chopped
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 60 g mushrooms
  • 4 tsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Do not use fan-assisted cooking. Wipe the meat with a damp cloth and lightly pound it with your hand. Rub the meat slices with pepper, a little salt, and herbs on both sides. Wash the tomatoes, trim the mushrooms, and slice them. Lightly oil four large pieces of aluminum foil, place the meat on them, and arrange the vegetables on top. Seal the foil tightly at the top and sides. Cook in the oven for a total of about 20 minutes (depending on the thickness of the steaks). Turn over once during cooking. Serve the steaks with the vegetables.
