Fillet steak with mashed potatoes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g potatoes
  • 100 g beef fillet(s)
  • 1 tsp oil for brushing
  • 1 tsp oil (linseed oil)
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 75 g low-fat curd cheese
  • ½ bunch basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the potatoes and cook in salted water. Pat the beef fillets dry and brush with oil. Then fry on both sides in a hot pan, as desired. Drain the potatoes and mash them finely, stirring in the linseed oil, salt, pepper, and low-fat curd cheese. Finely chop the basil and fold it into the mashed potatoes. Season to taste. Arrange the fillet steaks and mashed potatoes and serve.
