Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g potatoes, peeled and diced
- 600 g pumpkin(s), Hokkaido, pitted and cut into pieces
- some rapeseed oil
- 100 g bacon, diced
- 2 onions, diced
- 1 bunch soup greens, cleaned and chopped
- 1 liter of broth
- Salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
- cumin
- Chili, ground
- e.g. Worcestershire sauce or Maggi
- e.g. sausages, fine or Mettwurst in slices or smoked pork cooked and cut into pieces
- Parsley, chopped or dried

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Sauté the bacon, onion, and vegetables in hot fat. Add the potato pieces and, a little later, the pumpkin pieces, and pour in the broth. Simmer until soft, about 20-30 minutes. Season with all the spices and puree to taste. Heat sausage slices or pieces of meat in the broth, if desired. Serve garnished with parsley.
