Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 6 small apricots
- 3 tbsp orange juice, freshly squeezed or high-quality ready-made product
- 1 pinch of orange peel
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Wash, halve, pit, and dice the apricots. Simmer the apricots with orange juice, orange zest, and sugar. Reduce the liquid and remove from the heat when the apricots are tender enough to be crunchy. Serve the ragout with pudding or ice cream, for example. It can also be served warm.
