Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 42 g cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 30 g poppy seeds, white
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 15 minutes

Whisk the milk, cornstarch, and sugar together in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir in the egg and poppy seeds while whisking quickly. Pour into ramekins. Let cool (4-5 hours) and serve upside down. If you don’t want to turn it out and prefer a creamy pudding, use only about 34 g of cornstarch.
