Fine magic flower salt

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 tbsp sea salt, coarse
  • 2 tbsp mallow petals
  • 1 tbsp rose petals
  • 1 tbsp basil leaves
  • 1 tsp cornflower leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

A different kind of seasoning and a lovely gift from the kitchen at the same time

Add the leaves to the salt and mix them into a spice grinder, or grind them finely until the salt has a beautiful pink color. This recipe calls for dried leaves, but you can also use fresh ones – just be sure to grind the salt and then let it dry thoroughly before adding it to the spice grinder, as otherwise it might clump. The delicate flavor pairs well with fish, risotto, salads, and even on top of a breakfast egg.
