Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 130 g butter
- 250 g flour
- 70 g powdered sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 0.33 packs of baking powder
- 200 g ground walnuts
- 150 g sugar
- 125 ml orange juice
- 1 orange(s), peel
- powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp orange juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
Cream the butter with the egg and powdered sugar until creamy and then knead into a dough with flour on a board. Chill for about 30 minutes. Mix the nuts with the sugar, orange juice, and zest. Divide the dough and roll out two pieces to the size of the tin (30 x 20 cm or square). Place one piece in the prepared tin and spread with the filling. Place the second sheet of dough on top and bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for 25-30 minutes. For the glaze, mix the orange juice with the powdered sugar and spread over the hot cake. Once cooled, cut into slices.
