Fish marinade à la Ralli

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp, heaped sambal oelek
  • 1 tbsp mustard, Bavarian sweet
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce, dark
  • 12 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4 large garlic cloves, squeezed
  • Dill, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mix all ingredients together. You can also use apple cider vinegar instead of balsamic vinegar. The spiciness depends on the amount of sambal oelek. The marinade has a creamy consistency, similar to a barbecue sauce. I brush my fish skewers with the marinade before and during grilling (but more often). You can also marinate the fish beforehand and let it cool to allow the marinade to absorb. The marinade also tastes great on grilled vegetable skewers.
